KitkanRiisi is located on the border of North Ostrobothnia and Lapland, on the shore of crystal clear Kitkajärvi right next to Riisitunturi National Park!
Whether you long for a peaceful stay, fishing in Kitkajärvi, camping in Riisitunturi or other active pastimes, KitkanRiisi and the nature of Koilismaa offers you a versatile setting.
We can accommodate about 30 people, so KitkanRiisi is also suitable for various clubs, associations and companies, for example as a place to organize recreation and training days.

COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATION

KitkanRiisi has 10 comfortable rooms, all of which have a shower and toilet. The rooms are spacious approx. 23 square meters. There is also the possibility of an extra bed and travel cots for children. Accessibility has been taken into account in the facilities. Pets are welcome in some of the rooms.
A spacious common living area, a fireplace and 2 shared kitchens allow you spend your vacation according to your own schedule.
KitkanRiisi also has two saunas and the possibility to use a washing machine. There is a café/kiosk in connection with the information desk.

VARIOUS ACTIVITIES

You can go ice skating, sledding, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, hiking or picking berries... Kitkajärvi and Riisitunturi's unique national park offer you a wonderful setting!
You can also rent equipment from us for activities. Ruka and Oulanga National Park are located a short drive away.
Whether you are looking for a peaceful stay or an active pastime, KitkanRiisi and the nature of Koilismaa offers a versatile setting.
Nature photography, camping, hiking, fishing, diving, picking berries, sledding, skiing, snowshoeing, cycling...
KitkanRiisi is also an excellent base for hunters.
